Good basic stove. Could use some improvements.

Understanding that this is a basic stove and isn't going to include some features, there are still some improvements that could be made. One would be to have the dials in front be easier to read. If you're tall, as I am, you can't easily see where the dial is pointing. Something as simple as a little color at one end would help immensely, and at minimal cost. The other thing is that the back, vertical extension (above the cook surface) is taller than it needs to be (it's entirely cosmetic). A shelf we had installed between our previous range and the range hood will no longer fit. I know that's a situation that won't apply to everyone (or maybe anyone) reading this, but I thought it worth a mention. As far as the how the range works, well, the fact that it works is an improvement over the very old range it replaces. It's great to have four burners and an oven that all work. Everything seems to heat up quickly. We don't need a self-cleaning oven, a clock or anything else fancy. If you're looking at this range you probably don't either. Good basic range.

Knobs on front, makes it handicap accessible.
